Planning all the elements of a wedding can be overwhelming but by working closely with couples, understanding who they are, what is important to them and how they envisage their wedding day and the vibe they wish to create, I aim to take some of the stresses away…..and ideally turn the flower part at least into an enjoyable creative process! So if you’re planning a wedding and want beautiful but sustainable designs please  get in touch

During an initial free consultation at my studio in North Hertfordshire (or on the phone if that is easier for you to schedule) we will chat through your plans to date and what your vision is for your big day and, importantly, your budget. If you are looking for ceremony and reception flowers I always like to visit the venue(s), ideally with you, before providing an initial proposal and guideline quotation.

You may want to bring some pictures of things you like, material swatches or ribbons for colour inspiration and anything else that will help the creative juices flow. But if you don’t yet have a clear vision don’t worry as I will guide you through the process and make suggestions along the way and together we can start to formulate your preferred style.

I pride myself on giving a very personalised service and for this reason I only book one wedding a week, to ensure your wedding has my undivided attention. Once a booking fee has been received your date is secure and we can then start fully working together on fine tuning the scope and design of your florals.

I can do all, or some, of the following; essentially my input will be tailor made to your specific requirements.

Bridal Party Flowers

Bouquets for the bride and her bridesmaids, buttonholes, corsages, flower crowns, flower hoops, floral “confetti”, throwing  and Thank You bouquets.

Reception Flowers

This is where we can let our creative juices run wild!  No dream is too big.

Garlands, table runners and chandeliers of flowers and foliage, trees, candles, napkin decorations and floral favours are just some of the possibilities to personalise and decorate your venue.

Taking Down and Clearing Up the Flowers

Always the worst part of any event but on your wedding day let someone else do it. Different venues have different rules for this, particularly in terms of timescale, but I can work this out with them.

Depending on the floral designs chosen it may be possible to re-use all or some of the flowers and foliage. For example we could create designs with the main aim that they can be taken home by your guests as a lovely favour. Similarly, if suitable, I can dismantle some elements and create bouquets for your guests.

Rest assured that all materials will either be re-used or disposed of in the most eco friendly way possible. My aim is to always send nothing to landfill.

Ceremony Flowers

Whether you are having a church or civil ceremony personalised flowers always bring a touch of romance to any location and are a lovely welcome for your guests, giving them a taste of what is to come.

These can include arches, large pedestal and urn style arrangements, entrance arrangements, ceremony table flowers, trailing flowers and foliage around columns, pew ends, aisle flowers…..the list is endless! Depending on the venue there may be some constraints but I will liaise directly with them and tailor any plans accordingly.

Moving Arrangements Between Venues

Throughout the day (or days if you’re thinking really big!) I can be on hand to move floral arrangements between venues to get the maximum use out of them…..another way to re-use your flowers and get more blooms for your buck! We all love a win-win scenario after all.
