London Wedding 2019
Flowers collected from their garden
J & J are keen gardeners and when they decided to get married in London they ideally wanted to have some of their beautiful garden blooms in the Bride’s bouquet and decorating the stunning and grand dining rooms of Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair.
Needless to say the British weather wasn’t kind to us with unseasonably cold and wet weather in the weeks leading up to the wedding. But the home grown eucalyptus, delphiniums, trailing ivy and a few other types of flower came good and, combined with some bought hydrangeas, astilbe and roses, made a wonderful statement mantelpiece arrangement which was the backdrop for the official photos.
Whilst the cream roses took a battering we managed to rescue a few for the bridal bouquet and were able to pick just enough pink roses for the table arrangements. At the end of the celebrations the rose bowl vases and flowers were packed up for some of the lucky guests to take home.
