The entire Arbury restaurant was taken over for a post nuptials dinner. As it was the start of Autumn the couple wanted the season reflected in the floral decorations so a colour palette of aubergine, dusky pink and blush was used. Seasonal hydrangeas, dahlias, gladioli and roses were the main flowers accompanied by eucalyptus, berries and red and green foliage.

Two large arrangements in gold coloured urns decorated the two main areas of the restaurant and a large vase stood on the bar. Soft ruscus was twisted around the poles and also used to create napkin “rings”.

“Feminine and romantic” was the brief for this beautiful celebratory tea party in the Orangery at Woburn Coffee House, Bedfordshire.

A palette of creams and pinks was used to make table arrangements in bird cages, fish bowl vases and tea cups. Roses and ranunculas were the stars of the show being two of the most romantic flowers there are.

The birthday girl gave away the arrangements as party favours for those guests lucky enough to have a raffle ticket stuck to the bottom of their chair!

<Silver Wedding Party, 2018

The party was held at Priory Barn in Little Wymondley. As the ceiling of the barn is very high we needed to make some very tall arrangements.

The brief was bright and colourful and so an array of brightly coloured flowers were used including gerberas, roses, aliums, craspedia and chrysanthemums. Then some very tall salix bound with fairy lights gave height, and light, to each one.

Christmas Wedding, Hertfordshire  December 2018>

As well as helping with acquiring the flowers for the candlelit church ceremony which took place late on the last Saturday afternoon before Christmas, we also made an entrance archway in the church porch using salix, trailing ivy and thousands of fairy lights.

Bridal party flowers included festive bouquets for the bride and her two bridesmaids, buttonholes for the groom, his ushers and the two fathers, and corsages for both mothers.

Christmas table garlands were made for the long trestle tables at the reception along with a large arrangement on the bar.

21st Birthday Party, Surrey 2018>

This end of summer party in a marquee in the garden was the venue we were asked to dress in a low-key, casual and counrtyish style.

Orange being the birthday girl’s favourite colour we used a lot of orange gerberas in two large milk churn arrangements at the entrance to the garden and marquee, as well as in hanging milk bottles which lined the lit pathway at the side of the house. Small low arrangements on the poseur tables in the marquee and on tables and walls around the garden brought the theme together.
